Our Experience

At Bridge Mill Motors we think it’s really important that customers know our background and can trust our knowledge and experience when allowing us to work on their vehicles.

Bridge Mill Motors is owned and run by Nick and Adam. Initially called Buckley Street Garage, the vehicle workshop was located on Buckley Street in Macclesfield. Due to success, it soon became apparent that larger premises were needed, so the business was moved to Bridge Street Mills and renamed Bridge Mill Motors (BM Aston Motors Ltd).

Nick and Adam work as chief mechanics at Bridge Mill Motors. Both have had varied and extensive careers working for a range of independent garages, MOT testing stations and main dealerships with Aston Martin Stratstone being the most recent.

About Nick

Nick has gained a wealth of car servicing experience while working for different garages such as:

German Specialist Garage – Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagon (VW), Audi – (2 years)
Citroen Main Dealership – (2 years)

About Adam

Adam also has a wide range of knowledge after working for many years as an MOT vehicle inspector:

Aston Martin Stratstone – (3 years)
MOT Testing Station – MOT Inspector – (6 years)
MOT Testing Station – MOT Tester – (1 years)

Both Adam and Nick are qualified to work on Aston Martin vehicles after completing certified Aston courses at the Aston Martin factory in Gaydon:

How does this affect your warranty?

In short, it doesn’t affect your warranty. Due to the changes in law and Block Exemption policies, having your car serviced by an independent garage rather than a main dealer will not void your warranty, providing that the manufacturer’s repair guidelines are followed and parts fitted are equal to, or better quality specification than genuine dealer parts. We always follow the guidelines and use genuine Aston Martin parts or specialist higher quality parts.
